Summary of Sanitas Pymes Digital Plan
Toku partners with Sanitas (part of Bupa) to provide private health insurance in Spain. Coverage is provided exclusively through the Sanitas medical network.
Premium Breakdown
- The full cost of the plan is 100% employer-paid. There is no deduction from your paycheck for individual coverage.
- Coverage is provided through a closed group policy under the Sanitas Pymes Digital plan.

How to Enroll
On your start date, you can activate your health insurance by following these steps:
Step 1 - Navigate to Benefits
Log into your Toku account and go to the Benefits tab on the left-hand menu. You will also see a banner on your dashboard confirming that you are eligible for employee benefits - select "Sign Up for Benefits" from there.
Step 2 - Review Your Plan
You will see your plan details, including confirmation that your individual coverage is €0.00 (100% employer-sponsored). From this screen you can also download your plan documents: the IPID (Insurance Product Information Document), Table of Cover, and Terms and Conditions.
Step 3 - Enter Your Details
To complete your enrollment, you will need to provide:
- Mobile number - Used to verify your identity via SMS OTP when authorising with Sanitas.
- Tax ID (NIF/NIE) -Used as a unique identifier for compliance and policy records. Step 4 - Add Dependents (Optional)
You have the option to add family members (spouse, children, or other dependents) to your insurance. Select "Add dependant" and fill in their details: first name, last name, date of birth, dependant type, and sex assigned at birth.
Please note that dependent coverage is at the employee's cost and will be deducted from your monthly pay.
Step 5 - Submit
Once you've entered your details and added any dependents, click "Submit Details" at the bottom right of your screen.
If you would prefer not to enroll, you may select "Opt Out" instead. Please be aware that if you opt out during the cooling-off period, opting back in may only be available during the next renewal period.
How to Use Your Coverage
Once enrolled, you will receive a Sanitas member card. Present this card (along with your ID if requested) at any Sanitas network provider.

- Conditions related to chronic alcohol or drug use, self-harm, or negligence
- Cosmetic or aesthetic treatments
- Medications not commercially available in Spain
- Bariatric surgery (weight loss surgery)
