Toku's time off feature lets contributors submit leave requests and admins manage them, all in one place. This article covers both sides of the process.

✅ Contributors: How to Request Time Off

Managing time off through Toku ensures a complete record for audits and compliance, eliminates the risk of missed requests from scattered communication, and keeps payroll processing accurate.

  1. Log into Toku with your credentials.
  2. Navigate to Time Off. In the left-hand menu, click Time Off.
  3. Start a new request. Click the blue New Time Off button.
  4. Fill in your request details:
  • Date Range — Select your start and end dates.
  • Leave Type — Choose the appropriate type from the dropdown (e.g., Vacation, Sick Leave).
  • Description — Add any relevant notes or context.
  • Duration — Select whether this is a full day or half day request.
  1. Submit your request. Click Save. Your request will be sent to your admin for review. Once submitted, your admin will review the request and approve, reject, or follow up with you.

✅ Admins: Steps to Review Submitted Time Off

Admins can easily manage contributor time off directly in the Toku platform. This ensures requests are tracked, visible, and properly recorded for payroll.
