Voluntary Token Payment Terms & Conditions

1. Voluntary Election
You are electing, of your own free will, to receive a portion of your wages in tokens instead of fiat currency. This choice is completely voluntary and can be revoked at any time by following the company's opt-out process.
2. Request for Change
This change in payment method has been initiated by you, not by Toku or your employer/client.
3. Understanding of Token Payments
Tokens are digital assets subject to unique risks, including:
- Potential changes in market value
- Blockchain network or wallet access issues
- Regulatory changes that may impact use or transfer You are solely responsible for securing your wallet and safeguarding any private keys needed to access your funds.
4. Liability Waiver
Toku, your employer/client, and their affiliates will not be liable for any losses, damages, or claims arising from your choice to receive payment in tokens, including but not limited to loss of access to funds, wallet hacks, market fluctuations, or delays caused by network issues.
5. Tax and Regulatory Compliance
You are responsible for determining and fulfilling any tax reporting or payment obligations resulting from receiving tokens. You should seek independent tax, legal, or financial advice regarding these obligations.
6. Acknowledgment
By checking the box and submitting your election, you confirm that you:
- Understand the above terms and associated risks
- Accept full responsibility for your election and its consequences
- Release Toku, your employer/client, and their affiliates from any liability related to this decision
