Onboarding a New Hire
Start the hire in Toku with the proposed role, work location, pay and start date. The employee provides personal information, identity and work authorization documents, banking details and a signed agreement. Toku will confirm required documents, registrations and a feasible start date for the individual.
Employer Costs
Budget for gross pay, employer social contributions, paid leave and any agreed benefits. Contribution rates, tax rules and thresholds can change. Ask Toku for a current itemized estimate, including the effects of any applicable emergency measures, before agreeing compensation.
Compensation & Payroll
Agree gross pay and any allowances in the employment agreement. Toku will confirm the current minimum wage, pay schedule, deductions, currency and payroll deadlines for the employee. Ask Toku how a change will affect the next payroll before submitting it.
Employment Contracts & Probation
The agreement records the role, compensation and working arrangements. The permitted contract form, probation and registration requirements depend on the hire and current law. Toku will confirm them before work begins, including any applicable emergency rules.
Working Hours
Agree the working schedule and maintain the records Toku requests. Normal hours, overtime, rest periods and any temporary exceptions depend on the work and current law. Toku will confirm the applicable limits and pay treatment before additional hours are scheduled.
Leave Entitlements
The general minimum for basic annual paid leave is 24 calendar days for a working year. Some employees qualify for more. Martial-law rules can affect when and how leave is granted. Sick, maternity, parental and other protected leave have separate conditions. Toku will confirm the current entitlement, pay and documentation for the individual request.
Public Holidays
Holiday dates and their treatment can change, including under emergency rules. Do not assume that a listed holiday is automatically a non-working day or carries additional pay. Toku will confirm the current calendar and treatment for the employee's schedule.
Benefits
Include required social insurance and any agreed supplemental benefits in the employment budget. Availability, coverage, eligibility and cost depend on the employee and plan. Ask Toku for current benefit options and enrollment steps.
Ending Employment
Contact Toku before communicating an end date. The reason, agreement, service, notice, protected status and current emergency rules can affect whether and how employment may end. Toku will review the procedure, final pay and unused leave for the specific case.
Hiring Someone from Overseas?
Confirm the person's right to work and any permit or residence requirements before setting a start date. Toku will confirm the documents and process for the proposed hire.
